In another recent smash, 4DaFunk released a matrix version of the birthday gig performed by O(+> and the New Power Generation on January 8th (am), 1995, at Glam Slam Miami. The classic Prince shows from the 80s have received well justified praise, but many fans miss that in the mid 80s, around the release of The Gold Experience, Prince (under the O(+> moniker at the time) experienced a resurgence in energy and creativity, leading to several stunning albums (as Come/The Gold Experience/Emancipation) and to a series of excellent shows, where he ballsy played tracklists of exclusively recent songs.
A period not to forget, and to fully enjoy.
